I didn't see any mentions of Go yet.
- jnoller 13y agoI know of one unofficial Go SDK in the works. When we fully support an SDK we really support it by dedicating headcount to those SDKs. Things are obviously still evolving, and Go support is definitely on my wish list.
- ccera 13y agoIMO, you can't really talk credibly about having "Fanatical Support for Developers" if you don't support at least one compiled systems-development language, i.e., C++ or Go. But I'm sure I'm in the minority. (I vote for Go.)
- kc5tja 13y agoWhile Gorax isn't on the "official" list of bindings supported, I'm taking it upon myself, as a Racker and Go enthusiast, to maintain the Gorax project. Please see the project page at github.com/racker/gorax. Thanks!
- kc5tja 13y agoHello; Sam Falvo here, a Rackspace quality engineer. I'm working on the Gorax project to offer Go bindings to Rackspace's APIs. I encourage you to watch the github.com/racker/gorax project to remain informed of updates. Progress is kind of slow at the moment, but is proceeding more or less steadily. It's also the newest language binding, so it will of course not be as feature complete as, say, the Python or Node bindings.
- salimmadjd 13y agoThanks, Sam! I'll watch github project for updates. BTW, Mark Internate is an old friend. Tell him I said Hi.
- kc5tja 13y agoI have to go through several levels to do that, but I'll try. :) Just a head's up though -- I'm considering migrating the repository to the github.com/rackerlabs organization within a week or so, for consistency with other, more officially supported, API bindings.
- Interrante 13y agosalim! It's great to hear from you, how are things? We are making great strides at Rackspace.
