Part of the curse of being in technology (I'm an EE who does CS) is that its very hard to ever be surprised. Most of the "new" stuff you see touted, you know right away how its being done and the principles are uninteresting. Its very exciting when something comes along that seems genuinely magic. Its working and I haven't the faintest idea of how. I love magic!
