Change from the judiciary takes years and is usually piecemeal at best. And small wins like this undercut the urgency for legislative action. Ugh.
- ChuckMcM 13y agoPatience chasb, patience. Legislative action is not always the desired outcome, pushing for legislative action on Copyright reform got us DMCA, a mixed blessing at best. Legislative action informed by judicial review of key concepts and organizing principles makes for better laws in my experience. Time will tell of course. Change does happen.
