Because those devices help distract us from how awful the entire experience of flying is.
- bsg75 13y agoNot well enough in my experience. Nothing will make those half-human sized seats bearable. And I would reiterate, this is during the brief period of takeoff and landing.
- omni 13y agoI've had a few "brief" takeoffs lasting more than 2 hours. I'm sure other people here have as well.
