I recently visited my girlfriend who is studying abroad in the UK and I was dumb enough to arrive in London at 7 AM on a week day and take the tube from Zone 1 to Zone 4. Never again.
- njs12345 13y agoDo you mean from Zone 6 (Heathrow) to Zone 1? The other way round is probably not too bad at 7AM :)

- archon 13y agoWe did. We took a sleeper train (first mistake) from Edinburgh to London and arrived at 7am, then had to take the tube out to our hostel in Zone 4.
