Journal publishers are little more than "pdf middle men". They offer less value than scribd, which is saying something.
- mikeyouse 13y agoYou should really qualify that statement, many publishers (Nature, PNAS, etc.) are of very high quality and add significant value to the articles that they accept. Many publishers don't add any value at all but blanket statements aren't helpful.
