Neither. It was proffered as an explanation for the choice of typeface.

- msutherl 13y agoThat would be a refutation then, to which I would reply that I can see why one would choose a serif generally for this site – though I would not – but this particular serif does not make much sense.
- kintamanimatt 13y agoBut I haven't refuted anything you've said! The typeface's anachronism in part likely supports its air of credibility.
