Ask HN: Can we talk about Glass?

Recently there was a venture beat article on the front page discussing Google glass. The title was critical of the product as it concerned the average consumer. I'm opposed to blog spam and shitposting like anyone else, but as the only critical piece I've seen on HN regarding glass, it's curious to see it disappear from the front page. Would any of you mind explaining whats wrong with criticism towards glass? (The flag button is not a dislike button)
