I've stopped messing with iPhoto for the most part. I now use the Image Capture utility that still comes on every Mac to transfer my pictures to the computer.

I've stopped messing with iPhoto for the most part.
I now use the Image Capture utility that still comes on every Mac to transfer my pictures to the computer. That way I know where they are and I can import them to iPhoto myself if I feel the need.
- asynchronous13 13y agoLook into a referenced library for iPhoto. You can organize your photos on your hard drive as you see fit. And iPhoto will reference those files in place without duplicating the files when you import.
