I can't believe this is even an issue. CoffeeScript and JS are basically the same language; CS just has a nicer syntax. If these guys were going to be valuable

I can't believe this is even an issue. CoffeeScript and JS are basically the same language; CS just has a nicer syntax. If these guys were going to be valuable contributors, they'd take the 20 minutes it takes to learn CoffeeScript and then actually try and contribute. You'll suffer no loss "excluding" them from your project.
