In theory it's the distinctive manner of expressing ideas that is protected. We know that in practice it's complicated.
- CamperBob2 13y agoPoint being, Fitzgerald did not, and could not, do his work in a vacuum. Copyright has to be a limited bargain, or else it amounts to cultural theft.
