- hga 13y agoThe hard part has always been getting the fissionables. The only country that's ever had a problem getting their first nuke to go boom as expected is North Korea (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2006_North_Korean_nuclear_test http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2006_North_Korean_nuclear_test), and they may have gotten their act together in their second try 3 years later (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2009_North_Korean_Nuclear_Test http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2009_North_Korean_Nuclear_Test; the lack of detected radionuclides after it makes one wonder).
