People with different degrees of "smartness" are on opposite sides of many issues. Sadly, it is not as simple as smart=correct. Apply your same reasoning to pets.com in 1999 and it does not fare very well. Does facebook have value, yeah I think so. Does it have an intrinsic value in the billions? I think skepticism is warranted.
