Would you pay $20-25 a month for Netflix?
- jimbobimbo 13y agoGladly. Actually, that's almost how much I'm paying currently (3 DVDs + streaming) and I think, I'm not paying enough.
- mtgx 13y agoIf it featured same-month movie releases, probably. I'd pay $20 a month for a service that brought all-you-can-eat cinema to my home. I'm sure a lot would pay $30 a month for that, too, but the market would be far smaller - only for people who go at least once a week to the cinema. At $20, I think it would be the sweet spot for the much larger mainstream market to buy into it. Also, they could go global with that kind of pricing, even in poorer countries.
- Lucifero 13y agoAgreed. I'd double my Netflix payments if the DVD only movies were streaming and if TV shows were added as they were aired.
- mulletbum 13y agoWith more content?
- TwiztidK 13y agoIf I could watch TV shows from multiple major networks as they are released and there were same month movie releases, I would be willing to pay near $30/month.
- toomuchtodo 13y ago$20. Not a dollar more.
- CCs 13y agoI would. Even 2 tier would be OK, like $10/month for the current line up + $20/month extra for "Netflix Premium" that allows me online access to whatever is on DVD.
- rocky1138 13y agoNo. I hardly use the service as it is. I'd much rather read.
- phamilton 13y agoYes. I realized this was true when I bumped up our internet subscription (extra $20/month) because netflix wasn't working very well on the old subscription. I found (unconsciously) that I was willing to pay $20 more than the sticker price to use the service.
- smsm42 13y agoWith current selection - no way. With at least 50% of the shows I want to watch, with minimal delay (~2 weeks) - I would consider it.
