Ask HN: Has anyone seen a dropoff in traffic today due to May Day?

Normally just a casual observer of HN, but today we've seen a fairly dramatic dropoff in traffic (circa 30%) and wondered if others had seen a similar fall which could explain that this maybe seasonal ?
