I'm very confused. I work entirely from private feature branches; I use GitHub pull requests to manage merging those into master, but never touch master myself.

I'm very confused. I work entirely from private feature branches; I use GitHub pull requests to manage merging those into master, but never touch master myself. Does this fit into the above workflow at all, or is it only for those who are working off master or sharing branches with other developers?
