- mikeash 13y agoA great example of this is bit-squatting, where you register a domain name that matches a popular one except for one flipped bit: http://nakedsecurity.sophos.com/2011/08/10/bh-2011-bit-squatting-dns-hijacking-without-exploitation/ http://nakedsecurity.sophos.com/2011/08/10/bh-2011-bit-squat... It's enough to get quite a few visitors who were aiming for the popular site.
