There was GoGaRuCo (sold out now though), but I had to cancel my ticket unfortunately... There is a pretty sweet coffee shop near the YC office called Red Rock Coffee, it's often filled to the brim with laptop users, quite a few of them entrepreneurs. It's a two floor coffee shop that is often the location for various meetup groups (such as the iPhone & Facebook Apps).

+1 for Red Rock. Upstairs is an excellent place to work while in Mountain View. Twittered I was there this time last year and met all sorts of interesting people working on startups.

Just for reference for anyone else, the Palo Alto equivalent of Red Rock is Coupa Cafe. It's smaller than RR, but it's packed with startuppy types either brainstorming or just coding. Incidentally, I'll probably be there coding up our prototype a couple hours from now if anyone wants to stop by.
