Looks cool, but seems to immediately fall into Lisp's parentheses hell even in the Hello World apps.
- norswap 13y agoYup. Folk ought to know it's possible to put a few braces and some infixness without breaking homoiconicity. Also, avoiding to use nesting to introduce new identifiers goes a long way for clarity. I do hate "let" with a passion.
- roryokane 13y agoThis design problem already has a solution: http://readable.sourceforge.net/ http://readable.sourceforge.net/. But implementing sweet-expressions in BODOL’s parser (https://github.com/bodil/BODOL/blob/master/src/bodol/parser.clj https://github.com/bodil/BODOL/blob/master/src/bodol/parser....) would take a lot of changes, even if the author approved it.
- codygman 13y ago(what (do (you (mean ; vim/emacs completes the rest for me I find the parenthesis make me more aware of scope than other languages.
