My point stands: just write 1.0±1.0. If 1 Bq/Kg is small then giving a precision of 0.1 nBq/Kg is just plain insane.

- carlob 14y agoThat's great! I see you're not a physics major, so I apologize if I came out as aggressive. In general you want to keep 1 or 2 digits in the s.d. and align the precision of the mean accordingly.
