That's weird. They didn't publish any update since 2 years. Anyone thought it was really dead and Twitter made this in order let the user switch to twitter.com.

- lucisferre 13y agoI did, it wasn't even retina capable last I looked at it.
- derefr 13y agoIs Twitter an open-allocation company? This feels like what happens when there's something that needs to get done, but nobody really feels like working on it and there's no top-down command to do it.
- hung 13y agoIt might be partly due to their API keys and secrets being leaked a while back. http://thenextweb.com/twitter/2013/03/07/twitters-api-keys-and-secrets-surface-for-its-official-apps-what-should-we-do-with-them/ http://thenextweb.com/twitter/2013/03/07/twitters-api-keys-a...
- lukeman 13y agoOne interesting note: the deprecation of v1 of the API was going to force them to either remove the app or update it. During the blackout for unauth'd endpoints a few features (notably search) stopped working. I just checked and the new version is indeed hitting v1.1 of the API now. Also noticed that the Develop section has somehow survived, which was an old Tweetie feature allowing you to change the Oauth tokens that are used: http://d.pr/i/HMjs http://d.pr/i/HMjs
