Regardless of his level of guilt, the aim of the prosecutors/government was not to punish, nor to rehabilitate - they wanted to break him. This is not 'justice'

Regardless of his level of guilt, the aim of the prosecutors/government was not to punish, nor to rehabilitate - they wanted to break him. This is not 'justice'. And, sadly (in my opinion), it appears they succeeded.
