- Ixiaus 13y agoAlmost everyone is cynical in the comments today...must be the weather. I actually found the article interesting; sure the author didn't test his theory over multiple jobs but one might argue that his approach was SO SUCCESSFUL that he deemed it worth staying there for 17 years (and likewise for the company). The method sounds like a doormat approach (particularly the title, but it's meant to grab your attention) but what it really is doing is forcing both parties to be honest about what they want. Which, honestly, is a pretty smart move because it engages a less exploitive psychology in both parties and reveals what the true value to be provided is.
