- arohner 18y agoI've been meaning to write about this subject. During the Ruby Array#sum thing from last week, some rubyists were suggesting that adding Array#sum to the core lang would fix it. No, the problem is not that Array#sum is missing, the problem is that Ruby doesn't have a good way to safely monkey patch classes.
