Oh, boy. Looking through these comments I can easily see cars being the "gun debate" of 50 years from now. On the one hand, you have the public safety and efficiency argument of the pro-Google self-driving cars group. On the other hand, you have the freedom-loving, it's my right to operate this dangerous but fun piece of machinery group. Before this realization, I probably would have been anti-person-driven-car and pro-let-them-have-their-guns, but that seems inconsistent now. Hm.
