That is very valid, but the goal would be to beat Facebook to Facebook. Have a website in-place for each stage of social networking. A Friendster, with a MySpace ready for the inevitable decline, and a Facebook in waiting for when the Myspace crash happens. By staying 12 months ahead of the curve, you will be seen as the innovator, and with that you will be the one to reap the rewards.
