I'm sure I remember a debate being had in the news at some point about whether this antidote should be included in all paracetamol/acetaminophen pills sold. Since this seems not to have happened, does anyone know if there's some side-effect of taking N-acetylcysteine alongside paracetamol/acetaminophen as standard? Or was it just a question of price?
