This article makes a big fanfare and all, but until I see some data that violent video games actually leads to antisocial behaviour (on average), then I'm not inclined to believe that it is necessarily destructive. For all we know, it could be mostly about letting off steam. Just because something seems to be destructive, intuitively, doesn't mean that it actually is so. Human nature is far too complicated to assume that something that seems destructive intuitively really is so (since most people seem to get by just fine).
