It's illegal to sell alcohol before 10am over here (UK). So for many, 10am is most definitely the time for a beer. :P Edit: okay, so off-licenced retailers specifically, child commenter - it just doesn't quite have the same ring to it (and off-licence probably isn't a known term outside the UK)
