You might as well use UglifyJS, the same compressor that jQuery uses. https://github.com/mishoo/UglifyJS2/ https://github.com/mishoo/UglifyJS2/ You can try it out on http://skalman.github.io/UglifyJS-online/ http://skalman.github.io/UglifyJS-online/. It's just a light-weight wrapper.
