- steveklabnik 14y agoMVC means a ton of different things. Django itself does not use "MVC" to describe itself: https://docs.djangoproject.com/en/dev/faq/general/#django-appears-to-be-a-mvc-framework-but-you-call-the-controller-the-view-and-the-view-the-template-how-come-you-don-t-use-the-standard-names https://docs.djangoproject.com/en/dev/faq/general/#django-ap... > If you’re hungry for acronyms, you might say that Django is a “MTV” framework – that is, “model”, “template”, and “view.” That breakdown makes much more sense.
- misiti3780 14y agomodels -> models.py, controllers -> views.py, views -> templates, right?
- kitanata 14y agoIt's all semantics. As a long time django developer (4 years) I agree.
