I enjoy the work I currently do (though it's starting to get a bit samey, a change wouldn't be bad) but I am paid woefully under what my salary should be, because I stem from a government organisation that's now gone privatised. I am strongly considering jumping ship because it's essentially costing me at least $40k/year in opportunity cost to stay in this position. That's no small chunk of money.
