Ask HN: How to monetize this service?

http://whos.it/techcrunch.com I've been working on this side-project for three months. I bought the domain name several years ago to build a whois service better then existing ones. Here is how I planned to monetize it: - domain name reselling - paid API service - advertising - selling the website In 2009 when I bought the domain name, being a reseller seemed the best idea, but now in 2013 I don't have too much confidence in either one. Can you give me some ideas to monetize this?
