Language bashing for geeks is like ball scratching for baseball players. It's one of our ways of being social. Not everyone likes it, but it can be fun.
- jmtame 18y agoIt's fun only the first 10 or so times you hear "PHP sucks, ROR is the greatest language in the world!" As with any joke, it tends to get old pretty quickly. Move on, find another joke to tell. As a disclaimer, I don't take sides. I use both PHP and ROR. Use a language that works for YOUR project, but don't harass other people because of the languages they choose to use on theirs.
