How exactly is this a new thing? We are free to say what we want, it does not mean we are free from the consequences of our statements.
- obviouslygreen 14y agoHaving "rhetoric" in the first place puts you squarely in the public eye when you're in a high-profile position. If you can't keep that out of your public presence -- personal or professional -- then you're taking a risk, and not being aware of that just isn't an excuse at that point.
