Android is still far from open,and that mostly seems to be because of hardware vendors. My experience says Qualcomm is actually one of the worst here. I'm looking forward to seeing how this evolves, and if it truly becomes open. Seems unlikely because hardware has really long release cycles. Did Mozilla get any promises from vendors on that front?
