A lot of bad, but she garnered (and still does somewhat) a huge amount of respect.
For someone who has so much public hatred around her, you have to remember she still managed to win elections while all this was far more raw and happening around her.
- pekk 13y agoThatcher was not Hitler, but all the things you just said could also be said of Hitler. He won elections, too. So what?
- hp50g 13y agoHer election success is only because the voting system here is biased and most of the population aren't really evolved past primate level. The media control the outcome of an election. Her popularity is a myth perpetrated by the media. There is no respect from anyone who knows the facts.
