As with Firefox it's mostly search engine related income. They also sell opera mobile to manufacturers. Opera surprisingly has a lot of users in certain areas like east Europe.
- claudius 14y agoGiven that Opera (pre-Chromium, no idea how that turns out) is about the only browser usable on a slow network connection with the others only gradually catching up to server-side compression, caching of websites etc., this shouldn’t be a surprise.
