Another stutterer here. Fortunately, my stutter is limited to certain phonemes (generally initial plosives). I can generally just avoid words that I know I will stutter on, but unfortunately some words have no synonyms. For example, I stutter on the word "but", so I use "though" anywhere it wouldn't be terribly awkward. I have a phone interview coming up this week. Hope I manage to keep a lid on it!
