Tell HN: Insurance company just raised rates because of Hurricane Sandy costs

I live in area which was affected by Hurricane Sandy. and just found out that my car insurance rates went up by $100 for 6 month policy. No change in driving record, car record etc. at all but they just raised it claiming "to cover damages due to hurricane sandy. " So it is passed on the consumers i guess. Anyone else in similar situation ?
