My first reaction when I saw this submission was "Holy shit, who leaked kiln?"
- pnathan 14y agoYeah, that was my reaction as well. Kiln == Fog Creek's hg server in my head.
- manojlds 14y agoIt is now a git and hg server all at the same time.
- mpyne 14y agoMine was similar, if a little less cynical: "Holy shit, Fog Creek is open-sourcing Kiln? On April Fool's Day?"
- spicyj 14y agoWould they really host it on GitHub? :)
- mpyne 14y agoOoh, good point. Though one issue I've noticed popping up of late is that people are starting to associate "open source" with "GitHub" instead of with checking whether the source is open or not. So who knows, maybe a GitHub mirror of their own Kiln-hosted source for April Fool's?
- SkyMarshal 14y agoOn April 1st, absolutely.
