- jason_slack 14y agoI just feel like so many other sites cover these April 1 jokes to where we could keep HN on task for its purpose. And "some fun one day a year". I have fun everyday already. I dont need bogus news stories for me to let loose and enjoy life.
- sp332 14y agoSometimes there is one or just a couple of threads made which say "post aprils fools here", which keeps the rest of the homepage clean.
- vidarh 14y agoIt stopped being fun when the volume of them reached the kind of proportions that you can't avoid them anywhere. To me, this is the signal to not visit any "news" site for the following 24 hours.
