You should check out The Skool (http://theskoolrocks.com/ http://theskoolrocks.com/) with Jose Caballer. He's the host of the This Week in Web Design podcast and former creator of The Groop design agency in LA. He has conferences as well as weekly group calls and one-on-one help, along with all the tutorials. You might be able to get some background on the pricing, although he caters more towards professionals looking to improve their career rather than strict tutorials of how to design better. But it's a good starting point. Also, you need to see how much value you can add compared to a DIY subscription to something like Treehouse or Lynda.
