Is Persona reviving the old Microsoft Passport?
Microsoft first implemented this in early 2000s, I remember Microsoft Passport marketing the single sign-on feature, it did not catch up.

- AndrewDucker 14y agoExcept that Passport meant using a single authority (Microsoft), whereas Persona is entirely federated (once individual domains opt-in).
