I was hesitant to choose Python 3.3 for a new project with Django 1.5 because of compatibility issues with add-on libraries. I've been able to get South working from the tip of the hg repo, which was a big one for me. Thanks for working on this, it makes me much more comfortable with my Python 3.3 decision knowing migrations will have first class support in Django. I just sent in my contribution.
