I'm still holding out some hope that we'll be able to get to a reasonable middle ground. All parties gainfully employed again. Coming together to show more empathy and restraint about creating hostile environments, public shaming, and rushing to judgment. In a way, since so many people acted so badly, it should be easier for everyone to apologize and de-escalate while saving face.
