Wouldn't this violate app store rules? I was under the impression that the Kindle app almost got banned for this.
- olivercameron 14y agoAs long as it's for purchasing goods that are outside of your app, then it's fine. You couldn't use this for buying virtual coins, but you could for ordering an Uber.
- hboon 14y agoPhysical vs. virtual goods. In fact, Apple specifically doesn't let you sell physical goods with IAP. As for virtual goods that aren't tied to your app (referring to olivercameron's sibling comment), I don't think that's so clear cut.
