The point here is that we used to buy Apple (and pay their price) just because they weren't like the rest of the industry. That doesn't hold anymore.

- sbuk 14y agoMy point is that the are are still considerably better and actually not much worse than they've ever been. I've never had to threaten Apple with legal action in order to get the support I was due. With regard to Apple today, most of you appear to be too young to remember the 68000 => PowerPC transition in the early 90's. It was extremely painful for us with older 68 series machines with Apple offering no support at all. Where Apple are today is several orders of magnitude better than they were then.
