I have a mid 2010 mbp with 4gb of ram and it runs pretty fast.
- pnathan 14y agoSSD or platter? I use a hard disk, so that might be the cause.

- Dirlewanger 14y agoMid 2012 Mac Mini with 16GB of RAM and a 256GB SSD here and ST flies. Never had performance problems. An SSD is the single best upgrade one can make to their machine.
