URLs are meant to be explored by the user, hence the recommendation to use RESTful, semantic URLs. Granted, most users don't, but the spirit of URLs is to be manipulated by the end user; they are not opaque.
- BryantD 14y agoTo be completely clear, the script both explored URLs and added a User-agent header.
- AnthonyMouse 14y agoSo does a web browser. Is it now illegal to change your user-agent because a broken website is checking for a specific browser?
